After graduating from his masters in Biomedical Engineering, Dr. Sari spent a year at software team of Siemens Molecular Imaging and then completed his PhD in simultaneous PET/MR imaging at University College London. During his PhD, he researched on methods to non-invasively measure the arterial input function in PET imaging, utilizing MR information. After that, he joined University of Cambridge to work on PET/MR imaging in small vessels disease. Since 2018, Dr. Sari has been a research fellow at Martinos Center for Biomedical Engineering.
Dr. Sari’s research has been focusing on developing deep-learning based methods in attenuation correction of PET data using MR information and neuroimaging using PET/MR.
